Saw this the other night, found it interesting, hope you do too....

people get an old photo, then take a photo of the original, trying to match the background from then to the back ground of today.

    Lots of touching memories there....

I've attached some images from the site, to give an idea....

This was spotlighted on the ABC Evening News last week and sounds like a great idea. Thank you for the link.

Someone did them with Berlin, before and after WW2. Found these, http://www.thirdreichruins.com/berlin.htm although the one I was thinking of had the two imposed over each other.

Fascinating stuff Jamie. I never tire of looking at "now and then" pictures. Talking about making a model on this theme I vaguely remember seeing in a magazine a couple of years ago I think a truck that on one side was in its heyday, then turn it around and the other side was rusted up in a junkyard. It was really cool. If I ever find the pic again I shall post it for you.

    Great links Jamie.

I did something similar a couple of years ago using a photo from a book.
15th Battalion West Yorkshire Regiment (Leeds Pals) marching into Masham on the way to their training camp at Colsterdale Yorkshire 1915 and the same place now.
I know they don't match but I didn't want to get hit by a car

    Roger.
