I was finally able to get back and finish the diorama I started last year and took the final photos this afternoon.

Wow Guy, you must have a steady hand - superb job on the pin-striping and polka dots. Was this a combination of various kits?

Thanks for the feedback Clinton. There are 3 Verlinden kits here. The dead Pirate and the one to the left along with the chest came together and the Captain and the rear pirate with his hand up were seperate kits. They have a couple of more Pirate kits in 120mm scale as well.

Well done on all the figures. They all have a unique character to them. Makes for a nice effective vignette.

I'll remember you Jay when the will is written. The last few words when I finially finished this diorams were "I finially finished the F@#%#@ing thing"

I started this 18 months ago and had to continueously set it aside to paint commission figures. All good things take time I guess. Glad its done.

Top stuff, mate, hopefullly you'll bring this to Atlanta so I can see it in the flesh.
And that base & name llate really is something else as well. Beautifully presented

I have these figures here, too....and I also have started to paint them....three years ago.... laugh.gif

It was a dream project for me, but because of all the sculptings I have to do this times, I`, not able to find the time...but sometimes I will crack it smile.gif

Thanks for the feedback Keith, Anthony and Markus. It was alot of fun to paint with all the different colors, stripes and polka-dots. I will be bringing the Pirates to Atlanta with me.
