Dear Friends for Planet here is the Vignette
built specially for the event in Folkestone.

The subject is a Kavas - Baschi period 1780-1820 approximately
The Kavas - Baschi were part of the personal guard of the Grand Vizier
second personality in order of importance after the Sultan .....
The first idea was that to create a frame where it sees in a moment of rest .. at a later time
I decided to give more movement to the scene, adding the two dates Children vendors.
What is most interesting in the implementation was to create this little history between the characters of the Vignette ..... at the heart of the scene is the guy who wants rupees for the two branches of Dates (stored on the wall) that is trying to sell .... The story continues with the look of Kavas - Bashi looks with admiration that the boy who is trying to give the cheat (the dates when their crops are not tasty must mature) while the child who screams Dates! is the key element that continuity imagination of the viewer .....

I must say that I really enjoyed the realization of this little scene and it certainly will do other weather permitting
.... the materials are the usual .... MAGIC - AB - HARD - MILLIPUT - WOOD - PLASTICARD - THREAD OF BRASS.

The painting as you can well understand is Danilo .... and thanks go to my dear friend Engin Kayral for helping to the Historical research.

Excellent vignette, I have to admit that my favourite part of this scene is the timework in the back. It's just stunning to see some of these pieces and then wonder how much effort went into painting this.

I also judges this piece at Euro with Dave Maddox - I can confirm that it is as excellent as it looks! One of the easier decisions to reach - GOLD.
