Besides a mountain of flats waiting for paint I have a couple of more "conventional" :p figures in progress, one of which is Dan's WWI US Army Sharpshooter.
Here's how it's looking so far.

Cheers Ken, it's a bit strange going from a 30mm flat to a 120mm round figure but it keeps me on my toes :D

Looks well Roger. What colour did you use for the uniform, it looks spot on.

Cheers Carl, I'll get back to you on the uniform colours. They were all Vallejo acrylics, I just hauled 'em out of the drawer and threw 'em together 'til it looked right... I like the scientific approach. :)

These are the paints I used for the uniform Carl. In what order and what percentage lord knows. As you can see I've had them a while :D

Thank you Seb, it is very different from painting 30mm flats that's for sure.

    Hi Roger,

You have translated Dan's figure beautifully. Can't wait to see where you place the muzzle of that rifle...:)

Dare I say it..... Roger, you're taking your painting to an extra dimension.

I know, a poor attempt at humour, but the sentiment behind it is sincere. Great painting mate.

Thank you Vic. I was thinking of leaning the rifle against the kitbag but I might just paint it and let Dan decide the final positioning.
