The second piece is a figure in 75mm. of the historical German poet and "Minnesänger" Tannhäuser (Ca. mid 13th cent.), a character also known from Richard Wagner's famous opera of the same name. As an admirer of his music, the idea for the realization of this figure was present for some time, but after a visit to the Bayreuth Opera House the project was finally carried out. The fact of presenting a figure of a medieval knight with a more poetic than martial bearing has been an incentive for said production.
Both pieces are masterfully sculpted by the japanese artist Myouchin and casted in resin.
We hope that you like them!

Beautiful sculpting, and painting.....a real classical piece! I might have to put this one on the never-ending list.

Nice figure - the bearing is nonetheless quite martial;)

Lovely figure. I don't do medieval as a rule, but this one is tempting.
