    Hi fellas,

Been painting this one the last two weeks. Started with airbrushing, preshading and highlighting. Further progress all in oils. Still a bit shiny, needs the helmet straps, and a dull coat. comments welcome.

    Greetings John.

Thanks Brian, I left a very little amount of gloss on his cheecks and of course his lips and eyes. It is a desert rat after all ;-).
Together with the very matt finish on the helmet gives this figure the kick it needed. I Also had a lot of thoughts in advance about the helmet and glasses and decided to finish this the way I did with several layers of dust and chipping and fading. The helmet has avout 15 glazes of paint/weathering stages.

The overall colours of course are yellowish and green so the devil should be in the detail of this figure. For example the sheen of rust on the helmet and the dust collected on the side of his googles. I hope the effects are convincing.
I sure had a lot of fun painting it!!
    Greetings John.
