The flesh tones I find superb! Lothing and hair are too shiny for my taste though.

    cheers,

Excellent rendition of the mighty man of steel. It looks very much like you have used the graphic novel "kingdom come" as a guide.

Looking Good - the gloss on the costume needs a tone down but nothing a matt varnish won't cure. Alex Ross inspired bust.

Love the chiselled looks - Alex Ross is possibly the greatest comic artist around at present. The bust you have is not quite Ross but close.

    Looks good.

Thanks for comments here guys. That shiny gloss is still the oils, which where not dry.

Thanks Adrian, I am not sure about that base.
  17. Adrian Cowdry Well-Known Member

I like your base - the bust you have done is based on the Alex Ross art I think the wood suits the old style Alex Ross.
  18. Adrian Cowdry Well-Known Member

I did a Supes Bust - and it had it's own base - made to look like steel - Man of Steel obviously.

Alex Ross is possibly the master of comic book art - you should look to getting a Batman Bust in the Ross mold.
