    Hi,

After quite a time without painting I´ve finally finished a figure that I´ve sculped some months ago:).

It depicts an european knight in palestine (last half of 12th century). The mini is heavily inspired by Pegasos great 90mm templar sergeant.

Any comments, critic etc. are of course very welcome.

    Cheers, Simon:).

Excellent work Simon. Not to keen on the scars though, but thats just me.
Thanks for letting us see your work,
    Carl.

    Hi Simon,

I agree with Carl. Sadly, I think the scars make him look rather "fantasy" rather than historical. Apart from that, I really like it.

    A very excellent work.
I liked a crest of a surcoat in particular.
A figure has the wonderful atmosphere.

    Hi,

Thank you all very much for your comments.:)

The figure actually started as a fantasy mini...I think I would describe it as a fantasy miniature based on historical facts;).

The head is, also in my opinion, the worst part of the mini.... unfortunatelly I´m no real master of sculpting faces.... I´ve especially problems with sculpting detailed eyes and with symmetric proportions... thus up to now all my faces are either one-eyed or heavily scared:rolleyes::(.....

@templar magister: perhaps I will cast the knight I´m currently working on... though I´ve (so far) no real idea how it can be done.

    Cheers, Simon.
