this looks great, it will be a nice hommage to our history.
Hvala Ivane (Thx Ivan !)
I started with casting, some parts are finished, some are taking the rubber bath.
Now, since the version with the axe got mostly negative feedback, I simply did the version without hands in case where helmet will be put on the head:
Now, Pinsel, which version do you prefer, I assume it is the version with naked head and hand holding the helmet ??? Still have to do the casts for hands, but I hope they will be finished next week
i like this as well but i like the full version with fulla rms and helmet too.
but i want cause any troubles,if you cast only that version, and not the one with arms,it will do as well
where di you get negative feedback with the full arm-axe version?i find is still very good
Markus, I'll cast all parts except the hand holding the axe, but molds for hands will be last to do (as they are most complicated), so no problem, You just need to wait a bit more for the hands.
Negative feedback was mostly here im my modeling club from guys that I know for years. So, if they say that it looks unnatural, I believe them
no hurry take your time
well i like the version with the full arms
Casts for the first version are ready:
Is this the right way to add thread thumbnail ???
Sorry, never did that before...
OK. I figured it out, attachement must be in the first post
Gordy can you please delete this ?
Nice casting Darko!
First cast of the helmet.
I was afraid of this one, but it turned OK, no air bubles, and seamlines are all from inside:
Version 2 ready...
Only hands to do...
Thats a very sweet bust Darko, congrats! it will look suberb once painted!
As I am lame painter, I tried with faux bronze.
Figure is ready for modellers contest next week in Zagreb.
Paint is somewhat rough, but unfortunatelly I did not find copper or bronze color,
so I was working with what I had...
Very well done, love the bronze effect.
Exceptionally well done Darko!
I like the whole look of it this way...
Thx guys, now to mold the hands this weekend, and it's about time to start a new one (I mean old one that still does not have helmet finished and no gun)
