Completed Crimean War 93rd Sutherland Highlander.

    I posted this one a few years ago, but have some better photos of it. I HEAVILY converted the old Napoleonic Wars Highlander from Verlinden into a Crimean war 93rd Sutherland Highlander:

    The groundwork is quite good like the miniature!
    But I think it needs some contrast even to look at detailed miniature!!

    Mike,
    I think you have to do more work. There is no shading and highlighting.
    It could be that the light washed it out, but i cannot see highlight or shaded spots.

    It is due to my fledgling photography technique, and the severe lighting. It's all there in person. Albeit, this is a 120mm large scale figure, and thus the extremes of contrast in shading is dialed back some to suit.
