A very tempting purchase for the New Year. I have the Celtic carnyx and it is superb.

A very nice relaxed pose and something not in 'Lorica' style armour. Looks like a purchase from me too.

Great sculpt in a relaxed pose. Romans are not my thing, but I may make an exception for this one.

Just an update: I ordered this figure exactly one week ago and it arrived this morning safe & sound and well packed. So first off we have quick delivery to the UK from the Czech Republic.

The figure itself has some very nice detail, and a quick test fit shows that the parts go together well (so far as I'm able to tell without removing the casting plugs).

He's also quite generously proportioned for a 75. Seated he measures approx. 75mm from the soles of his feet to the top of his helmet, so standing he'd be taller. A very nice piece of rocky groundwork is also included (as shown in the photos at the top of the thread), onto which his backside fits perfectly.

The casting plugs are quite numerous and one or two will require careful removal (on the cornum for example), but no more so than on a lot of other figures, so that shouldn't really be a major issue. The casting standard is very high, the parts and the detail are sharp and crisp, and apart from a tiny bit on his lower left leg, it looks like very little "clean up" will be required.

Highly and genuinely recommended if you like your Romans, and I wanted to give Milan a plug on here (a) because the standard of his figures (I also have his Celtic carnyx) and his prompt & friendly service deserve it, and (b) these guys running figure companies need us to support them by buying their stuff .... so that they can carry on producing more stuff!

I paid €40.00 including shipping to the UK.

    - Steve
