Usutlan de Qahalom doesn't translate to Conquistadors Nightmare, I think.

However, this is a Aztec-Mayan- Olmec mash up of a jaguar god/ fighter fantasy bust from Big Child creatives.

Painted in acrylics.

lots and lots of brushstrokes to get the fur effect, and had to research the GW guys on doing jewels for the wristband emerald. The obsidian effect was black ink, with gloss, and green ink with gloss for the chipped cutting edges. Shield design based on some research and some sketches on google with Spanish text, so may be vaguely correct....

It's a 3D design done in traditional casting, going by the raw parts lay out.

Base I added some vegetation to give context, something new for me.

He looks good, very imposing piece, lots of different materials to texture on this one. BCC have some lovely figures in their range, strong fantasy inspirations.
