Confederate Sergeant, 1862 -in progress

    this is my new figure for a little dio. Sergeant Major, Confederate Cavalry, 1862 from Art Girona, 54mm. More pics soon. Painting oils.

    Thanks for all of your comments, it is a very valueable thing for me.

    some answers:

    Kisifer & Blind Pew: I mixed the oil paints (Talens) burnt siena, titanium white and raw umber. From these colours i gain a many tones which i bring on the face.
    Then i grind it softly.

    Hyades & BESPJL: The formula is the same like with the face paintning. Firstly i paint the bright - grey base (Humbrol or acryl). From the white and black oil paints i gain a few tones. Then i bring it on the figure and i make a shadows.

    Ernest: Thanks for your kind words, my friend. What's next on your workbench?

    Wojtek: To paint the base i use humbrols or acrylics and final color and shadows i gain with oils .
