    Hi All,

Here's a 54mm rebel infantryman I sculpted awhile back. The head is from Hornet and the body/equipment is sculpted with Magic Sculp. He was fun to build and paint.
    Thanks for looking! :)

    Great work Jason,

But i have some problem with the colour on the underside of his pants.
It looks yellow, and it is different than the sand where he is standing on.
Is it the light on the figure or what?? Please explain. But you did a great sculpt and painting.

Nice sculpting, Jason. Some year, my figures will look so clean, I hope. Quite a lot of character in the face and pose and the red beard sets him off. A minor quibble...the facial color. Maybe it is the photographic lighting, but he looks somewhat pale for the typical sunburnt Southerner.

    all the best,
    Dan

    Thanks Marc,

It was an experiment with weathering. Yeah, does look more yellow in the picture.
As for it being a different color than the ground work...well, I used the same colors. Can't really explain the difference.

But I like it just the same. Thanks for the feedback.

Well, this was another experiment in fleshtones. I added a little more grey to the mix thus giving it that pale look. The red beard is not that pronounced as the pic shows. I thought redheads are more pale than others no matter the exposure. Am I wrong?

All in all, I'm pleased with how he turned out. Thanks for the feedback.

I saw this figure in Gettysburg and it's very nice. Jason has a knack for showning Civil War subjects the way they looked. Great job!~Gary

Here's were I drew inspiration for the figure. Can you spot him?

    Thanks Dave, Joe and Kenneth!

Georges, a figure in the "Sedan" dio had an unfortunate accident while unpacking
from the MFCA show. I'll give the "how's" and "what's" later on. Nothing that can't be fixed! I'm just finding it hard to get motivated into repairing it. Sooo many ideas for other projects cloud my mind.

    Thanks again,

    Jason
