    I think that's a good base to start from - looks like a Troiani, or am I wrong?

    A very good effort Kenneth (y) , anatomy looks good but the problem is that the figure looks too bulky because of the clothing.
    I'm guessing that you have rolled out the putty and clothed your armature with it, the problem with this method is that you can make the clothing too thick, and even more so when adding multiple layers such as the coat.
    You need to keep in mind what types of clothing your figure is wearing and how tight/loose fitting it is.
