Luca has sent me photos of his newest project that he and Vincenizo Alberici are working on. It is a conversion from a 54mm Soldiers Confederate.

I'm curious to see how this turns out. It's hard to tell what kind of jacket or coat the figure is wearing. The figure's headgear is a little vague. It is hard to tell if it's a forage cap or kepi.~Gary

    Yes, Guy,

That is indeed very fast painting.
    But as always a masterpiece.
I think Gary D. will say something about the colours of the shirt etc.

I'm a little curious about hte pattern of the jacket and "kepi" myself. I would also like to know which figure is the basis of the conversion, if it's acommercial figure the pose might just work for a vignette I have planned for this summer.

    Thanks Gary,

For me, you know alot of the Civil War. For me at this site off the Atlantic and Northsea it is a far from home episode. Therefore i really apreciate every comment on clothing of this period.
    Thanks,
BTW: The figure is masterly painted.
