Comrades. Crimea war The Black Watch 1:54

    Hi guys
    I did this vignette of the Crimea war, inspired by the famous “ Comrades “of Scottish Military Painter Robert Gibb: the drama of a last goodbye to a dying soldier of the Black Watch supported by hiscomrades, during the cold winter of 1854.
    The challenge was to recreate the figures as they look in the picture.
    Over some plastic spare parts, I transformed and fit to position: bodies, legs and arms. Then I sculpted with putty all the uniform details, hands, belts, kilt and knapsack equipments, all are hand made.

    I painted with acrylic
