This set of LVT Crewmen is seen wearing the avaitors style flotation vests. Many LVT crews wore the bulky "Kapok" style of life vest, but the drivers and co-drivers could not wear the bulky style, because they could not fit through the cab escape hatches wearing them.
For this reason the LVT cab crew members were issued the smaller and thinner avation style of "Mae West" vests.

Also shown here is the re-worked nude female armature, slimmed down and modified to represent a Caucasian female. Including a new head. This armature is not intended for commercial release, but we will use it "in house" for a series of upcoming figure projects. </div>[/doHTML]

The LVT guysn look good. Bill has a knack for getting these types of uniforms just right, which I'm sure comes from hours of studying photos.~Gary

What's the situation with the Fiji girl? I like this female armature just as much.
Is this going to be used instead? And what became of her monkey friends?

Thanks for the feedback guys. The fiji girl is coming from VLS, this second version has been converted/redesigned to represent a caucasion female. She will be used to make European females, Russian women etc.

The monkeys were done for use in our own projects, including upcoming books. We never really planned on marketing them (PETA would probably sue us!).
They are really tiny in 1/35 scale.
