Collectively the Colonial Forces thread consists of photos and other material of German infantry, cavalry and naval troops living in and defending the German Colonies in Tsingtao, Eastern Asia, Sudwest Afrika, Palestine and Macedonia, East Africa and Cameroon during the period 1900 to 1918. The threads will mostly be arranged by colony.

Normally I remove all illustrations from these threads, but in this case I will leave just a few which represent good uniform color references or some other unique feature useful to the model-maker and painter.
