Hello all,

Here's my latest figure, painted in acrylics. It's a fantastic sculpt by Antonio Meseguer - I hope to paint more of his figures in the future.

He's wearing the Household Cavalry summer frock and is carrying a four-barreled Lancaster pistol.

Hope you like him.

Edward

Oh I do like him Edward.
Looks like you are in the zone!
Nice blacks & neat looking face, captures a stern professional officer all ready to do his duty - all 4 barrels worth!

Stay safe
Mike

Edward,
Thats a cracking piece of painting, great undress jacket. I was in two minds as to get this one, think I will now.
Regards
Bob

Have to confess that when I first saw this figure I thought he was far too static. A bit "frozen" looking even. And I'm still not sure about that left hand. However you have really brought it to life, and that jacket is superb. A cracking paint!

Many thanks guys - I think the left hand is fine - considering he's in a battle, it would be normal for the hand to tense up like that rather than hang naturally.

Ed you clearly had a ball doing this one - great treatment of that tunic, not an easy job by any means.
I love the subject, but I'm not 100% sold on the pose. It may be one I have to see in the flesh. Anyway, a job well done.
