I have just purchased the first introductory figure in the Lord of the Rings
collection. It is a very good representation of Gandalf the white wizard.

Although the paint job is not bad, I do intend to repaint them thus defeating the object of a collectors series. Subsequent figures are set to follow and they seem to be of the same quality

Hi Frank. picked up the first in the del prado mounted napoleonic figure @ £2.99 cheeeeeeeeep or what ,stripped it off, it breaks down into quite a nice piece, bought 10 more and am going to make a mounted band with them, might get a few more and use them for a gun team.

go wrong.whether you repaint or chop them up.
