After a hundred metal figures and lately more resin figures I started yesterday a metal.
Know I found that my files have had there best.
They are stacked with metal and lost therefore there sharpeness.
Is there some trick to clean them, or is it just throw away and buy new one's.

I use a brass wire brush.

Second that, soft brass brush. I brush along the ridges on the file as appropriate/necessary. It works on fine files as well as larger ones.

    Prost!

@megroot. I’ve had the same needle file set since I started the hobby painting gaming miniature but I give them a quick pass with the brush every time I’ve used them. So that’s probably 1000+ miniatures. Although I couldn’t say 100% you can save your files if they are too far gone.
