I present my latest work involving 2 figurines, 75mm, one form Ares (Triarius) and the 2nd from Pegaso (Iberian Warrior). The subject is the pivotal battle of the 2nd Punic War, the battle of the Metaurus, fought in 207 BC. The vignette is depicting the imminent clash between roman Triarius and an Iberian Warrior.

I worked in acrylics, oils, printers ink and for some weaponry I used Humbrol Metal Coat.

Beautifully done. Great Fleshtone and metalss. You've managed to bring the two figures together extremely well to make it a single piece.

As I expected from you, this diorama turned out great!!!
The figs are fantastic and, as usual, your ground work is top-notch! I love the ground features ( like roots and such) that protrude beyond the base... as though the scene was "scooped" right out of the earth.
I also enjoy the history you include when presenting your pieces.
Is the wooden base bought or homemade?

@Kreston - I used Apoxie Sculpt A+B putty (Natural) to finish and texture. The "skeleton" was done using wooden shims.
