A few reasons to stay at home and cook your own christmas dinner.

Firstly . The restaurant will be fully booked
Secondly . Temporary staff will have been hired with little or no experience
    Thirdly. Service will be crap
Fourth. Chef will be in a foul mood at being surrounded with tits which will reflect on his cooking
Fith Someone in your party will get the wrong order which will disrupt the flow of the meal
Sith You will be overcharged ; esp on the drinks

I may have missed a few , but speak from experience

    Bah Humbug

Have a great Christmas you all (y)

Well here I am sunning it up in sunny Spain,
Today I went into the little bar next door to my apartment which happens to be Finish ( Sammies Beach Bar).
After a pint Mrs B and I ordered what was described as a typical Finish Christmas Lunch. It was a hot and cold dish
with roast Pork and smoked salmon. ( thats all I could work out + a little beetroot & apple) It when described to me sounded bloody disgusting, but having eaten it I have to say it was bloody marvelous, Might even go back tomorrow for seconds.

    Sorry Ron,
I was under the apprehension that the rain and the midges were what made Scotland so attractive. Oh and the fried Mars Bar.:cool:
