    Hi Guys,

Following my love of the offbeat and niche subjects, I'm just sketching out a new bust in 1/9 scale of a Chinese infantryman, in Shanghai, 1937. All work in Miliput over a resin dolly, with the helmet borrowed for now, for scale.

This will have canvas hip pouches and maybe a bandolier or rolled greatcoat added and is based on the illustrations in the Osprey book, The Chinese Army, 1937-49.

    Thanks for looking,
