    Looking for some uniform data re Chasseurs of the line 1808/1812 ish :)
    IE facing colours as I wish to do a trumpeter but not the one with the pink uniform :rolleyes:

    The most numerous of the Napoleonic cavalry regiments and the poorest documented :)
    Perhaps due to the drabbest of uniforms .

    hi Ron,

    if you want to paint the metal Modeles kit you have to pay attention to the period and to the uniform. The coat wore by the figure has the kinsky cut and started to be used in 1809 or closer.
    Between the start and the introduction of the "livree imperiale " in 1812 the rule was to have it in facing colors

    yes Ron is a MM conversion very easy...

    I like the addition of the cloak and overalls , always think it is best to add something to the MM stuff even as little as changing a head. You can get really hooked on metal models :)
