An officer of the Polish State Police
Figure 1/32 carved from apoxie sculpt.
A figure wearing a horse police helmet and a police cap.
At the beginning of World War II, on September 24, 1939, the mounted squadron of the Polish State Police from Warsaw retreated to the south of the country along with other mounted units. Near the village of Husynne, he encountered Soviet troops that had crossed the Polish border a few days earlier, occupying the eastern territories of Poland. The squadron, in service uniforms, attacked and charged the Soviet soldiers.
To this day, there is a dispute as to whether it is a legend or it really was ...

Thank you for the drawings and photos, especially for the uniform board - I only have fragments of it !

    Very lively and dynamic figure.

The composition with the fleeing red army soldier also gives pleasant sensations.
