Nice bit of work you have there Honster, can I ask what colours you used for the clothes, I have a US Marine bust to paint and the Marines are a bit out of my comfort zone.

    Thanks

As I did this figure from start till finish within two days for a local modelling show, I was in a bit of a rush and I might be missing something but here is what I can remember.
For the base color, I choose olive grey and fieldgrey. Shadow by adding dark prusia blue to the base mix. And the deepest shadow by only dark pruisa blue and a tiny bit of black if needed.
Highlight is base color mix with Camo green from Citadel, then next add a little sunny skintone into the highlight. And final highlight is came green with sunny skintone.

Hope this could help you a little and do not worry too much, this is the first US marine I have ever painted. Just remember to get more reference and play around with the colors :)

    Cheers

Love the rich colouring of the rifle mate. Did you use inks to give it that effect?
