WOW! Great work Giovanni. I like everything, the metal, the skin and the war paint.

Care to share your bronze technique? Please....

Hi Martyn,

I use a mix of humbrol gold, raw umber, winsor green, ivory black (all oil colours).

try to use a dark mix to the bottom and to the recess parts and pure gold to the very top edges.
You can then make a mix with prevalent green and apply washes.

WOW! Great work Giovanni. I like everything, the metal, the skin and the war paint.

agree 100% Great work!!

Thanks so much!!

Just praise.
Breathtaking work

Marc, you are always too nice with me!!

I can see this becoming VERY popular - very nicely done all round. Thanks for posting.

Is a nice piece of kit, I'm sure will be a success.

As general notes, the blue tatoos of the celts are not tatoos at all, were war paint meaning that were not permanent neither too much detailed.

This doesn't mean that the celts had no tatoos, but were not the blue one in the iconography (and on the busts you see here).

Thanks and hope this helps.
