Here is my Celt 95% complete. I will weather the horse blanket to look worn. Please feel free to comment, as this will only help improve my work.
    Thanks

    Hi Glen,

Superb painting and a superb (simple yet very original) groundwork. I's also great to see this figure combined with a horse. Perfect work,

That came ouf very nice. Nice idea to team this figure up with the horse. I wish Ive had that idea myself.

And the groundwork ties it all.

Only nitpick is that the horse seem rather large for that era.

    Cheers

Janne......i pick The DML horse because it was the smallest I could find, but yest I have read the horses were small back then. ; )

It's not too easy find a small horse or the Elite figure is too small ;) . By the way the painting is beautiful.

    Horse Size

..yes getting the horse size to work in this situation was a challenge...but it looks better in person....the photos make tthe horse look better...could be the color?...should have painted the horse black? ; )

Im aware that there are very few options as most horses made are based on horses from the Napoleonic era and forward to present time.

Stick with the white, its beutiful.

    Cheers
