Celtic Standard Bearer

    Last August I started this figure and in between other projects have managed to get him this far. The plaid cape took him the longest and tonight I mounted the figure to the base.

    Guy very well painted.The cape looks absolutely amazing.
    If i could suggest something it would be the use of a bit more burnt sieena and some red in your skin color to look more alive.
    BTW where to i get this liitle guy?

    I can believe that the plaid cape took a long time to paint but it was worth it by the looks of it.
    I also love the wild hairdress, btw who is the manufacturer ?

    Nice painting.I like the cloack specially.
    A question.I may be wrong but I thought in the battle of teutoburg forest were romans against a confederation of germanic tribes.I didn't know celts were involved in that battle... :eek:

    an excellent rendition of the cloak,Did you draw the pattern in pencil first or go straight in with the paint
    The rest of it looks pretty good ,the skin tones look fine to me
