Yes, yes, yes. I am pretty sure I have not seen a better painted hair in the figure/bust than this one.

Superb piece David. Excellent flesh. So much more realistic then the usual high contrast that is the normal fashion. Hair is just right to compliment the flesh.
I always thought he was bare chested until now. If I may, and purely my personal view, I think the orange shirt detracts from the skin tone.

    That is brilliant work David.
Really subtle flesh, lovely expression and you've painted a really difficult part (the hair) to make it look extremely good.
    Lovely colours all over.

Hello Dave, Beautiful, just beautiful. The light complexion fleshtones look amazing, and the blondish hair is the best I have seen painted. Would love to know how you accomplished it? Congrats, and Regards, SG:)(y)(y)

Thanks to everyone for all your positive comments they are much appreciated.
Yes Pete all done in oils.
The hair is painted with a mix of Naples yellow deep and Raw umber shaded with washes of Warm sepia,Raw umber and Brown madder, it was then highlighted with Naples yellow deep, T white, Raw umber picking out individual strands the shading was done in the same way using the darker colours.

    Cheers David
