    This is my last realization for the Pegaso Models...... next escape I task of May......
    The subject is in 75 milimeter and represents one Cavaliere Portabandiera of Carlo D' Angiò 1226 - 1285

    As usual the painting are realized from me... :D ehmmm .......... from Danilo Cartacci... :)
    And the thankses go to Marco Giuliani for the Historical search.

    caro maurizio,
    tu fai onore alla nostra grande tradizione artistica italiana! tutte le tue sculture non mi fanno più avere nostalgia per i magnifici pezzi di ray lamb..., quando un pò di anni fà, aspettavo l'uscita di qualche suo pezzo nuovo, ed erano tempi quelli, dove i pezzi belli erano rari e bisognava aspettare mesi..( ho solo 40 anni, ma mi sembra un'infinità di tempo da quando visitai per la prima volta il famoso negozio Tradion a londra , anni 70..!e fui folgaorato da questo fantastico ed onirico mondo dei SOLDATINI!!!), bè tornado al tuo lavoro, essendo appassionato di archeologia, apprezzo tantissimo tutti i tuoi lavori sugli opliti ecc.. ho quasi terminato di dipingere l'oplita siciliota della romeo, ma ho ricostruito un elmo calcidico che ho fotografato al metropolitan di N.Y., spero di farti vedere qualche foto appena possibile.

    ........ it has been a little laborious one for me to realize a subject of a new historical period but me they are a lot amused.... .

    For Ray - Glenn and Chris ..... The chainmail it is realized with a tool made from me... is a needle for punctures to which I have cut to a tip part...... the used stucco is a mix of Kneadite 70% + Magic Sculpt 30%.

    For Costas - Hi Bro . finally and come outside..... :D .. can be realized in many versions....

    For Artur and Hardy aspect to see your paintings..... force with the paint-brushes ;)
