    Brilliant in both senses of the word! I have been impressed by your dazzling whites in earlier busts -- very dramatic. My granddaughter suggests that you saturated a normal pic, but I suspect that it would make the result as chalky as my painting when i try this. Can you give us the secret to your whites, if you have not already done so?

    Phillip, the photos aren't saturated. Only I have done is more shadow the give more realistic effect to the original model.
    I paint with Humbrol enamels and use for white black and tan as basic. 1/1/1/ white/black/tan. Then when it is a little bit dry I use more white in thin layers.
    Excuse me for my bad English...:D
