In the last year I visited Sorrento in Italy and in one of the gift shops there I saw the attached blond pirate bust. It was only 5 Euros and I could see possibilities so I bought it and converted it into Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates fo the Caribbean.

Apart from a bit of Milliput to lower the bandana on his forehead and the creamy white stick (I think its a clay pipe in the film but its hard to say) stuck into his hair this was achieved totally by repainting. Oh yes, I also used twisted wire and beads to make the twin braided beard. Oils for the flesh tones and acrylics for the remainder were used.

    I hope you like it.

Very nice work. and I love the design of that belt buckle on his chest. Will
have to keep that in mind fer my next pirate painting.

    Hearty harrrrrrrrrrrrr, shiver me timbers,
