Hello my friends,
here are some pics of my last work, the miniature represents one of the most victorius general of the medieval Greek empire Katakalon Kekaumenos (circa 2nd mid. 10th c.-1st mid. 11th c.) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katakalon_Kekaumenos
He is one of my favorite heroes from the reach Hellenic history, one I admire and have him as a guide in my life, this is a tribute to him.
The horse and head are from Pegaso models the rest are scratch.

This is absolutely beautiful!!! I don't know what else can be said... the detail is mindblowing, the pose is very realistic and the attitude is damn regal.
Perhaps you have some SBS pics you could add to this thread for those of us struggling with sculpting.

BTW still waiting on some of the dioramas you started but have been hiding

christos, absolutelly top notch, as usual with your sculpting and painting.
I just imagine the amount of hours you've spent on the details of this figure.
one particularily of the many items of the figure i love is how you made the texture on the front of the horse (i dont know the name of it) it looks like you used greenstuff , what is the other material ?,the brown? , looks awesome and i am sure you will be proud and pleased with this one.
