Buying Brushes Online?

I'm getting back into painting miniatures after an 8-year hiatus and of course need to replace a lot of lost tools. One of the most important is brushes. I've been looking on line for round and flat Series 7 sable brushes but am wondering if members here havehad good experiences with ordering brushes online or whether it's a purchase better made "in person".

    ..where possible.

I've only bought brushes on line once, and that was from a dedicated hobby shop who also sold me a whole bunch of paint at the same time, so a trusted source.

    They packed the brushes well.

Buying them yourself is preferable, at least you know what you're getting and can get a feel for them there.

Buying in person is probably better as you can see the "point" of the brush live, and may save sending a brush back for having an inferior point. Post back and forth can soon add up. Make sure the on line shop is reputable.
