Bust of Indian [WIP]

    That made an end of temp which I had not come any more poster here, veiled thing made. Here some stages of a bust of Indian in the course of sculpture. This sculpture is in Fimo and the size of the bust: 90mm.

    Very impressive, if only by the magical way the face seems to emerge from the blob of putty.

    For the hair:

    1/ Smooth the paste with your finger or tools.

    2/ Put some hollows.

    3/ to draw the hair with this tool. Given of the different direction, and push more at different place.

    Bonjour Benoît,

    Ton buste avance (très) bien. (y)

    Une petite remarque néanmoins avant qu'il ne soit trop tard.

    Il était d'usage chez les hommes (indiens) de porter les nattes DEVANT les oreilles. Les femmes elles les portaient derrière les oreilles.

    Il y avait des exceptions bien sûr. ;)

    Les nattes sur le devant du torse sont bien prévues, mais celles-ci seront sculptées par après pour plus de réalisme.

    Pour tout te dire je n'ai aucune photo de l'arrière d'un indien, ce qui fais que j'ai inventé, mais heureusement que tu soulève ce problème, je vais supprimer cela.

    PS: si je sculpte cet indien, c'est un peu à cause de toi :). Ca fais des années que je baves devant tes indiens, et comme c'est un vieux rêve, je me suis dis qu'il fallait bien qu'un jour j'en sculpte un :)
