I finished this one a little while back. It's from Thunderbird Miniatures, and was sculpted by Mike Good. All is painted in oils and I hope you like it.

I like this Mike Good bust a lot and you've done a great job painting it!

Great skin tones. Can you remember what colours do you use?

Ulrich: Basically the brown is done with brown madder alizarine from W&N.
Some burned sienna, a little touch of red, a bit of raw umber for the shadows, and ochre and some naples yellow for the highlights.
That's about it. Hopes it was usefull,
My only concerne is that brown madder alizarine from Winsor & Newton is no longer in production, I'm running out of it, and the new brown madder that's bin replaced by W&N is not the same color, aldough they say it does on there website. Shame...

Nice to see one of these painted up so nicely. Looking at it now, I think I made the pipe too small. Strange how I never notice this kind of thiong until it is too late.....
