Thanks! What do you mean unusually? The shape of the sword, or the pose?

Good to see this type of figure in 75mm. This could be a purchase. :) Reminds me of Tartar's 54mm barbarian king.

    RE: what Krest said

It looks awkward the way the warrior is holding the sword not a natural pose for me. If its a 2 handed sword then why's an axe in the other hand. Kind of like using a shield with a two handed sword. Just look out of sorts for me.

I agree! But let me say that Brian Boru was a very strong person who use the two-handed sword like others uses a dagger. there is an ancient irish song called: "Brian Boru was a very strong person who use the two-handed sword like others uses a dagger" ;)

All that may be true but the left arm looks anatomically awkward awkward...but I will but it anyway:).

Looks more like Cu Chulainn from the new comic book , rather than Brian Boru . Lovely sculpt and a definite for me.

Perhaps an optional left arm, hanging down with a shield?

Brian Boru?Eh I dont think so unless he was time travelled to Conan The Barbarian land.
Great FANTASY sculpt historical no way.

Its from a fantasy image that did the rounds for the Brian Boru film which I have read will run as the same theme as Braveheart to rouse the masses. ;) (Based on a graphic novel freedom within the heart)
