Hi all here is the box art for the Saving the Innocent Crimea 1854, it was painted by our good friend Javier Montero.

The piece was sculpted by our good friend Eduard Delgado it’s in 75mm. The kit can represent most of the wars during the second Empire. From the Crimea, Italian wars, Mexico, and the Franco Prussian war just leave the Russian Helmit off the base.

We are shipping this kit now their is also a bust version of this kit which is being painted by Ernesto.

You can order through our website on the following www.tfbminiatures.co.uk

    Enjoy

Simon, Malc and Alan thank you for the kind words. Javier did a great job on this it was a labour of love for him he could not wait to get his brushes on it lol. The subtle paint work really does the sculpt justice.

Eduard who did the sculpt relay enjoyed sculpting this piece and it shows our caster Juan Macone did a great job on the casting. All in all it turned out nice again.

It is excellent. It looks familiar somehow, like it's taken from an old painting. A super release. Paining children's skin tones is a real challenge.

the model is inspired by a painting of Émile Vernet-Lecomte called "Zouave Saving a Child from a Burning Church" (1857):

Yes that’s the art work we used, as soon as Ian showed it to the team it was an instant go. And we think Eduard pulled it off.

I can't fault the zouave but the childs face looks a little odd to me, when compared to the adult face it looks almost unfinished. It's something about the eyes maybe just the angle.
    A fantastic figure though.

Hi Melanie, it’s how the angle of the photo was taken, we thought that at first and checked the figure no it’s all fine so it’s a trick of the photo. The figure is very nice though.
