    Hi all,

It gives me great pleasure to show the completed box art for CGS Military Figures 120mm Chasseur a Cheval of the Imperial Guard, sculpted by Maurice Corry.

Painted by Marion Ball, I really must thank her for painting him so superbly, the finished piece will reside in my own collection soon :) (early Christmas present)

I have many pictures and will happily email a pack to anyone who has purchased the figure already and to future customers.

He is painted as a senior officer and specifically to the print used for inspiration.
    Thank you and best wishes
    Gra

I will never be able to come close the results Marrion achieved but her paintjob makes me want to buy this figure and I don't paint Napoleonics.

Thank you all, I am over the moon with this.
Moz and Marion have truly brought what started as an idea to life and I cannot thank them both enough.

Sorry Kev, no SBS, I am just pleased of the superb work Marion has done, it is on Marions and Alans website

Without derailing, MJ is doing a SBS for the Imperial Guard and that is the other piece to my collection :)

Both will be visiting shows on the stand, but not too often, far too precious

Best wishes and thanks as always for the support

After a gap of other periods, more french napoleonics are to follow in 120mm and possibly 75mm

Hi Graham, happy to open the wallet for such a great model-keep them coming mate. A great addition to your superb range. I think your policy of high quality sculpting, high quality casting and not swamping the market with new releases is a collectors/painters dream.

    Nice, very very nice, but:

    - The green is too light
    - One row of laces missing on the pelisse (17; should have 18)
    - Scabbard belt (long one) improperly fastened to the belt
    - Very strange shape of the sabretache (original painting is better)

What a pity that such talented sculptor / painter do not put more effort in getting serious documentation - which is easily available on such a popular subject.
