WIP Boudicca

When I bought RP Models' 75 mm Boudicca War Chariotte my first idea was to make a diorama with some romans defending a front yard of a Villa against Boudicca and her troops, but then I realized that my house is too small to have something of that kind in that scale, so I choose a more modest aproach, and i'll have a scene with the chariotte, 2 standing figures (one from DGmodels and other from Deja Vu), one mounted from Mercury and 2 romans (a centurian and an aquilifer) from Pegaso.
I'm still thinking on the best way to display them, so every help i can get from you is welcome.
The work I have done so far:
    One chariotte's horse almost finished
    The chariotte in it's beginnings
    The DG figure half way.
    Hope that you like it. 20190716_123942_010.jpg 20190716_123841_001.jpg 20190716_123809.jpg 20190716_124501_001.jpg 20190719_193239_003.jpg 20190719_193306_002.jpg 20190719_193328.jpg

    Hi Pedro

Great to see you working on the RP model from a Portuguese company as well ...Hugo will be happy I am sure

Like the horse colour and a good start on the chariot and figure

As for how it should be ..if space is a issue , keep it tight composition , the chariot as the main focus ....perhaps Romans on a small raised area ?

    Look forward to seeing more

    Thanks for sharing

Tartan is very difficult. You’re doing a great job so far.

    Temos artista! ;)

Particularly like the work on the horse!

What medium(s) do you use, Pedro? Acrylics (also oils perhaps?), I'd guess.

    Cheers!

    "Only acrylics Dolf."

    As I suspected :) Thanks (y)

Já reparei que também por cá (como em Espanha, e por aí fora) a maioria do pessoal está tudo rendido aos acrílicos ;)

    Cheers!

Things are going slowly: now I have the 2nd horse, a tree and 2 romans.
Some of my sources refer to legion IX as legion VIIII. Anyone knows the right way?
