After 5 months I call my largest project so far finished. When I had taken the pictures (what is allready a challenge for me) I found that I should dirty them up a little bit. So I done that.
The base is from Sockels and Bases: https://www.sockelandbases.de/2016/ who made this giant base for me out of a piece of olivewood. the base is heavy and hughe. The measure's are 30x 15 cm.
I had a long thought if where I should put the Roman or leaf him aways. But he is part of the story and make it clear.
As always everything is painted with oilpaint.
    Waiting for the comments.

That fits perfectly. Great and excellent work. Attached the base without figures ;-) But it was and is the right choice for the scene I think

Very nice, really big project, and with amazing result. The pedestal looks great and it was a great idea to leave a bark with it ... Coooooool :)

Looks great, Marc. I hope I can get mine to look this good. Who makes the figure you used for the Roman?

I like the addition of the Roman. Gives the piece a sense of motion, urgency and focus.
