I was really happy to see some of my work appear in the Winter 2015 issue of Military Collector & Historian published by The Company of Military Historians. I've always wanted to illustrate a plate and or article for them ever since I was a kid. It feels great to see it finally come to fruition after all these years. Much to my surprise the work attracted the attention of an author that is in the process of writing a book that needs uniforms studies of various mid 19th century subjects. Unfortunately I cannot go into the specifics of the projects or post the work that I'm doing by request of the author. I'm considering posting some sketches of subjects relevant to the period so as to keep the visual tone of this blog.
