Hello,

I've been working on this for the last few months and I'm finally calling it finished. It's sculpted by the talented Antonio Zapatero and is cast in resin. It's not an easy figure - the assembly was very tricky and the painting was a challenge, particularly the beadwork. This is my second mounted figure and I'd like to do another one soon.

Thanks for looking,

Edward

Very nicely done. Super work on the quiver strap beads and eyes.

I just got this figure a couple weeks ago. Wondering why you left off the blanket at the front of the rider...did it not fit well?

Thanks a lot guys!

I left the blanket off in the end because it was difficult to attach and because I thought it covered up quite a bit of the figure..

Beautiful work... well beyond my paygrade, that's for sure. I have a native fig in my grey army and between the bead work and the skin tone it may stay in that regiment for a long time to come.
Mind you, seeing what you've done with this piece, it makes me want to take a kick at it.

Very inspiring

Colin
