    Hello all.

Here is another figure that was recently completed. This time it is a soldier of the Björneborgs regiment from the battle of Lappo 1808.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Lapua

The figure was sculpted out of Magic Sculpt, the head is from Hornet and the musket a slightly modiefied item from Metals Models.

The figure was painted with Vallejo acrylics.

    Best regards Lars

    Another beauty Lars. Interesting subject.
Do you use 54mm or 1/35 Hornet heads?

Really enjoy this figure, making something different in the Napoleonic Era.
And i do not forget that the Swedish dinasty is French !!!!!

Thanks guys I'm glad you like it.

Colin: I usually use heads from the 1:35 range, I find they work well with 54 mm figures as well.

It's a really interesting time period to work with, even though the Swedish-Russian war was a more minor war, compared to the big epic battles of the Napoleon war in Europe, still it includes so many interesting fates and stories,
Many big changes in Sweden during this time, including as Zastrow mentioned, a replacement of kings, making the French Marshal Bernadotte new king of Sweden.

Tanks again, I appreciate your comments.
