Another flat underway. From the feet to the tips of the feathers is 90mm so a bit easier on the eyes but painting the patterns was "interesting".
Everything is in acrylics at the moment but will be further refined with oils as I progress.

Large size flats are very popular these days the traditional 30mm figures seem to have declined in popularity except with the hardcore traditionalists.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with traditionalist, I like to paint whatever takes my fancy without worrying about labels.

Oh you are a very productive and multitalented modeller Rog,aren't you?This looks great.La Meridiana produces this in 54mm full figure format.I really don't know how you manage to do all these figures and still maintain such a high standard of quality in your painting.What can I say besides hats off to you mate.

Thank you very much. Spending a month away from figures helps, I come home fully motivated..... and my wife watches garbage on tv so I need something to occupy myself and I can't be trusted in the pub.

Thanks Tony, it would probably be getting along a bit quicker if I wasn't working on two other figures and a tank at the same time but maybe it's helping by stopping me rush it.
