Best Soldiers The Goth 4th C

This is one of the latest releases from Bestsoldiers depicting a Goth Warrior of the 4th century. A few copies of the figure were originally released through Alexandra Miniatures but the master is now owned by Marco at Bestsoldiers. The original work on the figure was carried out by Nino Pizzichemi and additional work including a second option head was carried out by Salvatore Miraglia.








The kit is 54mm in scale is consist of seven white metal parts and a resin base. A close inspection of the parts show good quality casting and a high level of detail with only a minimal of cleanup of parts. All parts are supplied in poly zip lock bags and sandwiched between layers of foam in a sturdy box with some very nice colour box art by Luca Oliviri.





Show are the two head options, a close inspection shows the good level of detail.





The main torso of the figure is cast in one piece, it locates perfectly into the supplied resin base.

The shield and left arm are cast as one section, it keys in nicely to the upper arm socket and base.





The right arm has a hole between the fingers to locate the supplied spear shaft which is cast in white metal. We can see three different views of the assembled figure.


Conclusion:

Another fine release from Bestsoldiers. All parts are very clean and only small seam lines need to be removed. There is an option of two heads included in the kit. Highly Recommended.
