This is one of the latest releases this month to come from Beneito Miniatures. It represents an Imperial Guard Officer 1815. The figure is cast in nine white metal parts and is 54mm in scale. A close inspection of the parts show the usual good quality casting of parts with minimal clean-up of seam lines. All parts are packed in a foam lined box and a colour painting guide is included in the kit as well as some very nice colour box art from Jose Manuel Alverez to aid as an additional painting guide. The figure has been sculpted by José Hidalo.

The main torso shows dynamic movement in the flaring out of the lower part of the coat. We can see front and rear views in the picture below also a close up of the quality of detail and casting. The legs fit into the bottom of the loser torso using a V groove and V key, test fitting was an exact fit with no gaps.

There are two head options included with the kit with hat or without hat and head bandage, a very neat feature to the kit. Both heads are shown below from different angles, Jose has made a nice job of the detail sculpted into the faces at this scale.
Other parts of the kit, arms sword scabbard and sword. The right hand is cast as part of the sword handle.

    Conclusion:
Another fine example to the ever growing range of figures from this long established company. All parts are clean and well-cast with just the usual minimal clean-up of any visible mould lines. A fine addition to anyone who is interested in this era of history. Highly recommended.
